2024 Training Ride Schedule
Training Ride #1 - Saturday, February 24th @ 8:30 AM CT
Training Ride #2 - Saturday, March 23rd
Training Ride #3 - Saturday, April 20th
Training rides for this year's Cheaha Challenge Gran Fondo and ULTRA are almost set. Riders can take advantage of one of the three opportunities to ride and understand the course if they have never taken part in the ride. Each ride will begin from the Shoal Creek Ranger District (45 Highway 281, Cleburne, AL 36265). Dates are listed below. You can go to the Facebook Event Page that is linked below to add this to your calendar and to find out more details about the rides on each specific date.
These rides are self-supported, so please bring all nutrition and spare tubes/tools you need to complete the ride with you. There is a stop at Cheaha State Park where you can purchase water, drinks, snacks, etc, so bring cash for this as well. If the ride is going into the park beyond the gate, then you will need to pay the $5 park entrance fee at the store. We cannot waive this fee, and it is required to go beyond the gate.
